Critical Social Justice is a campus-wide initiative dedicated to deepening our collective understanding of equity, inclusion, and community care. Through panels, workshops, and creative programming, we invite students, staff, and faculty to engage in meaningful conversations about how they can see themselves in both the problems and in the solutions of our unjust society.

Institutions often use language centered on equity, inclusion, belonging, and community care, but what happens when our practices do not fully reflect those values? This program examines the gap between the language we use and how we respond when harm, exclusion, or inequity occurs, asking what meaningful accountability and corrective action should look like within a campus community.

This is event is part of Critical Social Justice(CSJ) , a campus-wide initiative dedicated to deepening our collective understanding of equity, inclusion, and community care. Through panels, workshops, and creative programming, CSJ Week invites students, staff, and faculty to engage in meaningful conversations about justice and belonging within and beyond the university. This years theme is "the personal is political" highlighting the ways that we can be both part of the problem and part of the solution to healing our unjust society.

The experiences we carry do not only live in our thoughts; they can also show up in our bodies. This yoga practice creates space to explore the connection between our bodies, stress, and the weight of navigating social and political challenges. Through gentle movement, grounding,reflection, participants will be invited to consider what they are carrying, what they may be ready to release, and what it means to intentionally make space for rest and care.
