MARC Alert Reminder:September 23rd Penn Line Schedule Change MARC Train Schedule Change

As a reminder, the new schedule for MARC Train service will go into effect on tomorrow September 23, 2019. Penn Station train departures 491 (dpt 4:00), 495 (dpt 5:55) and Washington Union Station departures 692 (dpt 5:30), 694 (dpt 7:30) will operate on the present schedule that was already in effect. We do apologize for any confusion and thank you for riding MARC.

Tuesday, September 17, 2019 - The main Campus has been closed for the day, due to a water main break Off Campus disrupting water services On Campus. 

All Routes - UMBC Transit will be suspending all shuttle services beginning at 2:30pm. Current services will continue to run on-time/schedule until 2:30pm. The final shuttles departing campus are as follow:

Paradise : 2:30 PM
Downtown: 2:30 PM
Catonsville: 2:30 PM
Arbutus / MARC: 2:00 PM

Due to events taking place downtown Baltimore - Thursday, September 12, 2019, the Baltimore City Department of Transportation has issue an advisory to motorist traveling in the downtown area to expect heavy volumes of traffic. While this is taking place, temporary intersection closures may occur in the afternoon and early evening hours which will cause major congestion and significant delays. UMBC Transit will assess traffic conditions on an hourly basis to determine the best route in and out of the city.  In the event that Pratt St. is closed, we will be unable to service the following stops:
