Amtrak has notified MARC Train that the trackwork between West Baltimore and Odenton will be completed on schedule.  There will be a Penn Line schedule change, effective Saturday, November 18 / Monday November 20.

There are many changes to Southbound service:

- Nearly all southbound trains at all stations have adjusted times as the southbound track is returned to service.  Please carefully review the new timetable and verify the new times for the trains you ride.

- Morning trains at West Baltimore, Halethorpe, and BWI Marshall Airport will return to the regular southbound platform.

- Train 511 (5:40am departure from Perryville / 6:25am departure from Baltimore) will depart all stations five minutes later.

There are some minor adjustments to Northbound trains:

- Train 404 (6:35am departure from Washington) will once again stop at BWI.

- Train 430 (now the 4:23pm departure from Washington) will depart all stations THREE MINUTES EARLIER (restoring the departure time of 4:20pm).

- Train 532 (now the 4:25pm departure from Washington) will depart all stations THREE MINUTES EARLIER (restoring the departure time of 4:22pm).

- Train 448 (now the 7:45pm departure from Washington) will depart all stations FIVE MINUTES EARLIER (restoring the departure time of 7:40pm).

In addition, there are two changes to the weekend schedule:

- Train 487 (Saturday and Sunday 1:45pm departure from Baltimore) will depart all stations FIVE MINUTES EARLIER.

- Train 480 (Sunday 10:40am departure from Washington) will depart all stations ten minutes later.

Timetables are available for download at www.mta.maryland.gov/marc-train . Printed copies will be available by November 15th.

MARC Train will operate on an "R" schedule on Monday, October 9 in observance of Columbus Day.  Only trains with an "R" under the train number in the Camden and Penn Line timetables and Brunswick Line trains listed in the special grid on the right side of the timetable will operate. In addition, some trains will make additional stops when operating on the "R" schedule as noted in the timetable grid.

Please note that the "R" schedule replaces the former "S" schedule and that there have been changes made to which trains operate on this reduced service schedule. Carefully review the timetables to ensure that the train you want to ride is operating.  Passengers should take note especially of the following:

--The last Penn Line train to Perryville will depart Washington at 6:23pm and the last train to Baltimore will depart Washington at 7:45pm

--Brunswick Line Train 881 terminates in Brunswick on the "R" schedule.  Passengers traveling west of Brunswick must be on Train 875, departing Washington at 4:25pm.

--The last Camden Line departure from Washington to Baltimore is Train 858 at 6:55pm.
