NSF-funded Research Training Program on AI + HPC + Atmospheric Sciences For grad students, post-docs & junior faculty, Spring 2027

UMBC will hold an NSF-funded online program in Spring 2027 on AI + High-Performance Computing + Atmospheric Sciences to train graduate students, postdocs, and junior faculty. The program will include instruction in data, computing, and atmospheric sciences, supported by teaching assistants, followed by faculty-guided project research in a multidisciplinary team of participants from each area. Participants nationwide will gain multidisciplinary research experience and have the opportunity for significant career growth.

Graduate students, postdocs, and junior scientists/faculty from US institutions are welcome to apply. Each person who finishes the program will receive a $500 stipend. The application deadline is 01/04/2027. More information is available HERE.
