Wellbeing Assessment Survey

<Tagline>Due: Tuesday, November 3, 2020</Tagline>

Good morning,

UMBC acknowledges that the well-being of students is a critical factor in the success of students in and out of the classroom. Although classes at UMBC are mostly held in virtual spaces during these unique times, the well-being of students at UMBC is more important than ever.

Please add your voice to the conversation about wellbeing by Tuesday, November 3, 2020. UMBC is participating in the Wake Forest University Wellbeing Assessment research survey to better understand your well-being needs and improve support for wellbeing on your campus. Students at multiple colleges and universities are being invited to participate in this research project, which studies national, long-term trends in student wellbeing. The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete.

Follow this link to the survey:
https://wfuwellbeingcollab.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6gKmQPSogOxuKi1?SCODE=dx3y74tq8wd3m5g2&ExternalDataReference=1027

Why is UMBC participating in this survey?
This survey is an opportunity for you to communicate with your school about your well-being. Surveys have the unique ability to gather a lot of information from a large number of students. This helps your school make more informed and targeted decisions about current resources, understand where additional ones could be most helpful, and look at trends in student wellbeing over time.

If you have questions or would like more information, please e-mail Dr. Nicole Brocato at brocatnw@wfu.edu. If you want to confirm that this survey is being initiated by personnel at UMBC, please contact Samantha Smith, the Associate Director of Health Promotion, at samsmith@umbc.edu.

If you are looking for updates related to UMBC's response to COVID-19 and ways to protect your wellbeing, please visit the Retrievers Return Roadmap site at: covid19.umbc.edu .

You are under no obligation to participate in this project.

Wake Forest University IRB approval#: IRB00023615
