Interested in a Winter course?

The Winter 2021 Schedule of Classes is already available for review on-line. You can enroll in up to 4.5 total credits during the winter session. 

Many winter session courses meet degree requirements or are general education (GEP) courses required for all majors. Winter registration is from October 19 to January 7th.  

For important dates & deadlines, click here. Advising clearance is not required for Winter registration.

Join us next Wednesday, October 28th at 1pm EST to learn more about the Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree Campus Healthcare recognition program which celebrates leadership in wellness and community engagement through trees among health institutions. At the Joseph Beuys Sculpture Park, it’s part of our mission to nurture the trees in our park and in our surrounding community. In this webinar, the Arbor Day Foundation will offer a framework for campuses and communities to get involved and become leaders within their urban forestry "ecosystem."

It is the most scariest time offf the yeearrr! Time to submit to the commonvision Hallowzine! Submit your spooky short stories, ghoulish crossword puzzles, haunted haikus, photos of you as an adorable child dressed up in your costume...even better, your PETS IN COSTUMES! Students, Staff, Faculty and Alumni are all welcome to submit.

You may submit up to 3 pieces. Submitted pieces will be included in the Hallowzine 2020 + Digital Copy

For best consideration, enter by October 23, 2020 at 11:59pm. Entries submitted after this time will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Submissions can be submitted through commonvision.umbc.edu/fun - click “Zines”!

Have questions but you don't know who to ask? Reach out to a Student Ambassador! There is a wonderful group of students from various academic and cultural backgrounds who are ready to help YOU! They can help get you connected to resources on campus for academic help, health and wellness, and even for social/cultural groups on campus!

Student Ambassadors are volunteer student peers who serve as a “brain trust” for other students seeking information and resources regarding how to become successful, virtual learners in the time of COVID-19.

Ambassadors provide information, share their experiences on what has and what has not worked in terms of effective strategies, and direct the student to the resources available on campus.
