Lee</span><span>, Ph.D., director of inclusive excellence, was named one of Eastern Michigan University’s </span><a href="https://www.emich.edu/alumni/awards-scholarships/alumni-awards/60th-annual-alumni-awards.php" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>2021 Outstanding Young Alumni</span></a><span>. The award honors alumni whose achievements have been signified by personal honors bestowed upon them by their peers and who have demonstrated the worth of their education through their post-college achievements. Lee also oversees </span><a href="http://i3b.umbc.edu" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"><span>Initiatives for Identity, Inclusion, and Belonging</span></a><span> in the Division of Student Affairs.     <p>Rate yourself as to how you typically react in each of the situations listed below. There are no right or wrong answers. Record your answers to each question and use the scoring guide below.</p>
    <p>4 = Always, 3 = Frequently, 2 = Sometimes, 1 = Never</p>
    <ol>
    <li>Do you try to do as much as possible in the least amount of time?</li>

    <p><strong>Stress Quiz Scoring Guide</strong></p>
    <p><strong>Immediate stress</strong>- If your score is between 20 and 50 you have a good balance in your ability to handle and control stress.</p>
    <p><strong>Continued Stress</strong>- score ranging between 51 and 60, your stress level is marginal and you are bordering on being excessively tense.</p>
    <p><strong>Ongoing Stress</strong>- If your total number of points exceeds 60, you may be a candidate for heart disease.</p>
    <p>If you would like to talk to someone about your stress levels, the Counseling Center is FREE for all students. You can make an appointment by calling the front desk at 410-455-2472, or stopping in during business hours. They are located in the Center for Well-Being, which is in between Chesapeake Hall and Susquehanna Hall, across from Erickson Field.<span> </span></p>

    <div>The American Association of State Colleges and Universities' American Democracy Project (of which UMBC is a member) is hosting <a href="https://www.aascu.org/ADP/Events/Global-Literacy-Talks/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Global Literacy Talks</a>, a series of lively facilitated conversation filled with civil discourse and your voice. </div>

    <div>This conversation will be about <a href="https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZYucuCsrjkvHtPFB6qAdReJ6ks9-TDDJFKk" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">"Championing the Global Agenda: American Higher Ed's Role in Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)"</a> a timely topic for International Education Week.
