9am-9:15am - Welcome & Introductions
9:20am-9:50am - Opening Restorative Circles (small breakout groups)
9:55am-10:40am - Session 1: Using Restorative Practices to Building Community Across Difference
Panelists: (moderated by Lauren Mauriello)
10:45am-11:30am - Session 2: Using Restorative Practices to Foster Racial Healing
Panelists: Desiree Anderson, Satya China, and Johanna Turner (moderated by Neijma Celestine-Donnor)
11:45am - Closing Restorative Circles (small breakout groups)
Ending is flexible, but likely before 1pm
Restorative Practices refers to a philosophy and set of tools that strengthen relationships between individuals as well as social connections within communities. Restorative practices can create space for individuals to learn from each other, build relationships across differences, and dialogue about difficult topics.
Large group sessions will be recorded, but Restorative Circles will be private conversations.
