We were notified this morning that the painters will not arrive until the following weekend. Due to these changes, we have decided to reopen the space on Monday 12/12 at noon. However, our space will still remain closed today and tomorrow to prep our space for carpet cleaning. 

That being said, our last Small Sensible Chill Night is back on and we will have a slightly earlier closure on Friday, Dec. 16th at 3:30 pm. All other hours of our spaces with these named updates are available on this post. We appreciate your patience during these space updates.

December 3rd is the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities, honoring the United Nation's commitment for promoting the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities - more than 1 billion people worldwide are in this demographic, the world's largest minority. The day raises awareness of the political, economic, social and cultural aspects of disability that affects people around the world. 

The theme for 2022 is transformative solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fueling an accessible and equitable world.  The theme reflects recent consideration of the impacts of COVID-19, climate change, and the invasion Ukraine. UMBC is recognizing this important day with the screening of the documentary, I Didn't See You There on Monday December 5 at 4p in Admin 101 (link) - please join us for this award-winning film, which will be followed by discussion/Q&A.
