At 8 a.m. on that day, we will open to UMBC students, faculty and staff.

Entry will be by card swipe (with your UMBC ID card) at the double doors in the Atrium.

Approximately half of the furniture is installed.  Booth seating, movable soft seating, vending area seating, and several tables will be delivered over the next three weeks.  Computer equipment will be installed in mid-September.  However, we have sufficient furniture to open 24/7 after the Labor Day weekend.

Three drink vending machines are installed and stocked.  Food and supplies vending will be added on September 6.  The hydration station for filtered drinking water - sponsored and funding by the SGA - is installed and operational just inside the entrance.

The Learning Resource Center is now setting up for tutoring in mathematics and writing.  The tutoring itself will begin around September 13.

The Technology Support Center is operational for both walk-in and phone assistance during Library open hours.
