Welcome Back! There's a ton to do this week.
Welcome Back to campus! If you're a freshman, I hope you're enjoying your first days here at UMBC. Move-in is always a bit stressful, but it's exciting to meet new people and jump into your new campus. Wet 'N' Wild Summer Nights: Foam Party
9pm / The Quad
We'll have some free funnel cake, french fries, and lots of inflatables. The Specialist is DJing the dance party (which takes place in a ginormous foam pit) so come out and go wild!

Leave Your Mark!

We changed this activity this year! Participate in the first big school spirit event on campus by getting messy and creative with paint and other materials. How do you want to leave your mark on campus?

Outdoor Movie + Laser Tag: Iron Man 2

With laser tag the size of a football field, Iron Man ice cream, and a big jumbo screen, you can't miss this event! It's a school tradition.

UMBC has established two new graduate programs in cybersecurity education, one leading to a MS degree in cybersecurity and another to a graduate certificate in cybersecurity strategy and policy. Both are designed for students and working professionals who aspire to make a difference in the security, stability, and functional agility of the national and global information infrastructure. The programs will begin in January 2011.
