If you're a freshman, I hope you're enjoying your first days here at UMBC. Move-in is always a bit stressful, but it's exciting to meet new people and jump into your new campus. We saw lots of you at Playfair yesterday and we hope to see you at all of the events we have planned this week! Here's a rundown:<br><br>Saturday, August 28<span><br>Wet 'N' Wild Summer Nights: Foam Party</span><br>9pm / The Quad<br><span>We'll have some free funnel cake, french fries, and lots of inflatables. The Specialist is DJing the dance party (which takes place in a ginormous foam pit) so come out and go wild!</span><br><br>Sunday, August 29<br><span>Leave Your Mark!<br></span>10am / Erickson Field<span><br></span><span>We changed this activity this year! Participate in the first big school spirit event on campus by getting messy and creative with paint and other materials. How do you want to leave your mark on campus?<br><br></span>Monday, August 29<br><span>Outdoor Movie + Laser Tag: Iron Man 2<br></span>8pm / The Quad<span><br></span><span>With laser tag the size of a football field, Iron Man ice cream, and a big jumbo screen, you can't miss this event! It's a school tradition.<br><br></span>Tuesday, August 30<br><span>Big Crazy Fun Night<br></span>8pm / The Commons<span><br></span><span>Play games, win tokens and prizes, eat free pizza (lots of it!), and celebrate the start of the year!<br><br></span>Wednesday, September 1<br><span>Involvement Fest<br></span>11am / The Quad<span><br></span><span>Join student organizations and clubs.</span><br><br>Friday, September 3<br><span>Hypnotist<br></span>9pm / UC Ballroom<span><br></span><br>Saturday, September 4<br> <span>Comedian: Nick Thune<br></span>9pm / UC Ballroom<span><br></span><span>Free show!
