From a dashboard view, you can quickly obtain information including last payment, amount owed, latest monthly earnings, a rolling transaction history, unit sales, and payment trends.

In addition, we've also made significant updates to how your payments will be processed and how they are presented on iTunes Connect, including:

• Reduction in the thresholds required to be paid, increasing the frequency you will receive proceeds.
• A consolidated single monthly payment for all your proceeds worldwide, reducing bank fees and costs.
• Clearer presentation of amounts earned, amounts owed, and a reconciliation between the reported sales and the amounts paid.

I wanted to pass on the following tip from Emily Norton who works as an ENERGY STAR Technical Support Contractor helping promote the US EPA ENERGY STAR Program.

"For those campuses looking for an additional energy saving initiative to implement, the US EPA ENERGY STAR program offers free software and free technical assistance to help college and university network administrators activate power management features.

Computer Power Management (CPM) simply means placing monitors and computers into a low-power "sleep mode" after a period of inactivity. Moving the mouse or tapping the keyboard "wakes" the computer and monitor in seconds. While CPM features are built into almost every modern operating system, they must be activated.

Activating power management on computers and monitors saves up to $75 per year per machine, which when multiplied by hundreds or thousands of computers can mean serious savings".

In addition, colleges and universities that pledge to activate power management features and to purchase ENERGY STAR computers can be listed as participants in the ENERGY STAR Low Carbon IT Campaign. Over 40 colleges and universities are currently signed up.

Microsoft’s Bing team announced on their blog that that the Bing search engine is “powering Yahoo!’s search results” in the US and Canada for English queries. Yahoo also has a post on their Yahoo! Search Blog.

The San Jose Mercury News reports:

“Tuesday, nearly 13 months after Yahoo and Microsoft announced plans to collaborate on Internet search in hopes of challenging Google’s market dominance, the two companies announced that the results of all Yahoo English language searches made in the United States and Canada are coming from Microsoft’s Bing search engine. The two companies are still racing to complete the transition of paid search, the text advertising links that run beside and above the standard search results, before the make-or-break holiday period — a much more difficult task.”

Combining the traffic from Microsoft and Yahoo will give the Bing a more significant share of the Web search market. That should help them by providing both companies with a larger stream of search related data that can be exploited to improve search relevance, ad placement and trend spotting. It will also help to foster competition with Google focused on developing better search technology.

Hopefully, Bing will be able to benefit from the good work done at Yahoo! on adding more semantics to Web search.
