    <div>The Student Events Board (seb) is hiring! We're looking to hire two undergraduate designers to add to our team in order to create social posts, flyers, merchandise, Quadmania (UMBC's biggest spring festival) promo, and more! This is a paid position where students will not only be working on design projects but will also be planning events to reach the student body. We are looking for students who are passionate in design and creating promo in order to market our events, as well as be student leaders and collaborate with programmers and marketers on the team. Students are expected to work an average of 10 hours a week between designing, collaborating with the team, attending executive board meetings, and planning and supporting events. This is a great opportunity to expand your portfolio and create designs that will be seen by the entire student body. We're looking forward to seeing you all apply! <strong>(NOTE: undergraduate students graduating in Spring 2024 or Fall 2025 are NOT eligible to apply)</strong><br>

It consists of three half-day, virtual events with drop-in sessions for extended conversation on key topics.</div>

    <div>Hosted by the <a href="https://digitallearning.ucf.edu/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Division of Digital Learning</a> at the <a href="https://www.ucf.edu/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">University of Central Florida</a>, this event <span>seeks to educate all attendees on emerging trends and issues within open education</span><span>. </span><span>Speakers representing all levels of colleges and universities will present informational sessions, participate in panel discussions, and lead interactive workshops for attendees.</span>

    <div>This event will also highlight national issues such as artificial intelligence (AI) and Inclusive Access regarding open education. Attendees will learn how to use AI for Open Ed in their courses.</div>

    <div>A student panel will be present at the event to discuss the importance of using Open Ed not only for their academic success, but also its financial impact. OER can be more affordable for students and provide academic freedom and creativity for faculty.</div>

    <p><span>The Alex. Brown Center’s next event of the semester will be held Friday, February 23rd from 11:30-1pm in Commons 331!</span></p>
    <p><span>The Idea Pitch Day event is a great time to get feedback on your idea or existing business and find other students that might be interested in helping you as well as learning more about the Idea Challenge Competition. This is the perfect opportunity for students who want to enter the competition to informally pitch their idea to an audience as a way to receive feedback in a casual, relaxed setting.</span></p>
    <p><span>If you aren't sure you're ready to submit an idea, that's OK! This event is a great time to get feedback on your preliminary idea or existing business, and to find other students interested in helping you. It will also give you a chance to learn more about the ABCEI's competitions and events.</span></p>
    <p><span>Students, faculty, alumni, and members of the business community are welcome to attend!  We hope to see you there!</span></p></span><br>

    <span>Embark on a fantastical journey! We're leading a supportive Dungeons and
    Dragons campaign designed specifically for queer, questioning, or allied
    college students. This group provides a unique blend of therapeutic engagement
    and imaginative roleplay, creating a safe and inclusive space for self-exploration
    and community building. Through collaborative storytelling and character
    development, members will explore themes of identity, resilience, and
    empowerment, all while enjoying the fun and creativity of a custom-designed
    D&amp;D campaign. Our sessions, led by experienced facilitators, foster a sense
    of belonging, understanding, and pride. Whether you're a seasoned player or new
    to the world of tabletop roleplaying, our group welcomes you to join this
    magical adventure.</span><div><span><br></span></div>

    <span>This group takes place in-person on Wednesdays from 3 - 5 p.m. beginning February 28.</span><div><span><p><br></p>
