    <div>ECON 467 Health Economics (also listed as ECON 652)</div>
    <div><br></div>
    <div>Are you ready to dive into the dynamic intersection of healthcare and economics? This course offers an exploration of the healthcare system through the lens of economics, providing you with invaluable tools to analyze healthcare choices at both macro and micro levels. From market forces to policy interventions, we'll navigate the landscape together. You'll be introduced to essential data sources and interactive tools in health economics. Through engaging weekly assignments, you'll learn to craft a public health economic research question and produce a paper ready for presentation.<br>

    <div>The only prerequisite is Econ 101. We start with a quick review of microeconomics to refresh your knowledge. There are two sessions of the course, one meets Tuesdays 7:10-9:40 pm and the other meets on Wednesdays 7:10-9:40 pm. </div>

    <div>Given interest in a new hardware purchase to extend the taki HPC, we would like to convene a meeting of those faculty interested in contributing to a community purchase in the coming weeks. The goal of this meeting would be to quickly review HW options and discuss topics ranging from desired machine specifications, purchase timeline, desired number of machines, and language we would like to distribute to departments and colleges to find other potential contributors ahead of the purchase.</div>

<Tagline>Develop your emotional regulation and interpersonal skills!</Tagline>

    <div class="html-content">Skills Training in the Application of Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR) <span>helps students who
    struggle with relationship dynamics and emotion regulation. High-stress
    experiences overwhelm the emotional system, creating both emotional chaos and
    numbing, undermining our ability to think and act effectively, and disturbing
    our sense of self and relationships. The skills training and practice
    introduced in this program are designed to help you leave behind old patterns
    and develop new interpersonal behaviors and emotion management skills more
    consistent with your current life goals. </span><div><span><br></span></div>
    <div><span>STAIR Group will run 3 times during Spring 2024, all rounds will be in-person.</span></div>
    <div><span><br></span></div>
    <div><span>Round 1: Fridays from 1:30 - 3 p.m. beginning February 9 (8 weeks)</span></div>
    <div><span>Round 2: Tuesdays from 1:30 - 3 p.m. beginning March 5 (6 weeks)</span></div>
    <div><span>Round 3: Tuesdays from 10 - 11:30 a.m. beginning April 2 (6 weeks)</span></div>

    <div><span><p><span>The first step to joining any group is to complete an Initial Consultation appointment. Please call us at 410-455-2542 or visit the RetrieverCare portal to schedule.</span></p>

    <div>The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang, is a high fantasy novel that takes the readers on a journey through a war torn empire which had its inspiration drawn from Chinese history and mythology. <div>Rin, a war orphan, wanting to escape the confines of a forced arranged marriage takes an entrance exam to the prestigious military academy of the Nikara Empire. While gaining entrance to the academy might have helped her escape one challenge, it lands her in the middle of another. Surrounded by the children of the elite, as an orphan and dark-skinned peasant girl from the south, leads to many struggles as she becomes a target for her color, class, and gender. But through it all discovers she possesses a lethal and unearthly power and aptitude for shamanism. War breaks out between the Nikaran Empire and the enemy Federation of Mugen, who had occupied and almost conquered Nikara during the first and second Poppy Wars. As the third Poppy War sparks, Rin and her powers may be the only way to save her people. </div>
