Summer GLBL 210: ENTR Elective Course

Fall ENTR Courses Being Offered

Our entrepreneurship courses help students develop an entrepreneurial mindset so they can be effective problem solvers who think outside the box, regardless of whether you ever start a business!  Our Fall classes still have room...

• ENTR 200: Introduction to Entrepreneurship  This course cover the basics of what you need to know to pursue an idea and where to start!  Class sessions will focus on identifying problems and solutions, customers, and the basics of funding.

      **Starting this fall, ENTR 200 will count as a Social Science GEP! 

     Course Sections being offered:

1. In-Person: Monday: 4:30-7 pm
2. In-Person: Tuesday: 4:30-7 pm,
3. Hybrid Section: Wednesday: 4:30-7 pm   This section will meet in-person for the first and last class sections, and online for the remainder of the semester.

• ENTR 201:  The Entrepreneurial Mindset This course focuses on helping students develop the problem solving skills and attributes needed to solve real-world problems.

     Course Sections being offered (both sections are in-person)

1. Monday: 4:30-7 pm
2. Tuesday: 4:30-7 pm

• ENTR 330: Entrepreneurial Finance (offered every Fall semester) This course goes deeper than the basics in a beginning business plan and students learn about how to develop a healthy financial plan for a venture that is sustainable.

1. Wednesday: 4:30-7 pm

We’ve officially hit the final stretch! As we wrap up the last day of classes, take a second to breathe—you’ve worked incredibly hard to get here. Whether you’re fueling up on coffee for finals or prepping your final grades, we’re rooting for you every step of the way.

Here’s your quick "Finish Line Checklist" to keep things running smoothly:

• Students: Your feedback is our fuel!  Please complete your Course Evaluations by the end of the day today if you haven't already done them.
• Faculty: Please be sure to submit official grades by the May 26 deadline. 📝
• TA/TFs: Don’t forget to drop your keys off with Hank before you head out for the break. 🔑

And finally, a huge CONGRATULATIONS to our graduating students for reaching the finish line! 🎓 It’s an incredible achievement. You’ve officially "Extended Beyond"—now go out there and show the world what UMBC engineers can do!!

Happy Last Day of Classes! To our students: I wish you all the best on your final exams, papers, and projects—you are almost there, and I know you can finish strong. To our faculty and staff: Thank you for your dedication to our students and to your work across all departments and every corner of our campus.

To our entire campus community: Congratulations on all you have achieved during this semester and throughout the academic year. I know it has been challenging on many fronts; I hope you all take time to pause and reflect on what you have accomplished and the positive difference you have made for others.

Living Water is hosting a study night tonight Tuesday, 5/12 at 7:00PM - Midnight in ILSB 101 (Main Room) and ILSB 201 (Quiet Room).

Since you'll be studying for finals anyways, come do it with us! We booked two rooms for yappers and quiet ones :) bring your friends and let's lock in together!

We'll have lo-fi music, coffee, monster, matcha, and chicken nuggets (and maybe go to midnight breakfast after)!
