<Title>Retriever Robotics at RoboCEO</Title>
<Tagline>CEOs and robotics... let's compete!</Tagline>

    <div class="html-content"><span>On Sunday, Retriever Robotics participated in RoboCEO.  The CEOs from companies like Mindgrub competed against each other in a VEX tournament using robots made by surrounding schools.  Both UMBC robots competed in the final round of the tournament, but lost a close game.  It was a great experience and we had a lot of fun. </span></div>

<Title>CWIT Student Council Leadership Positions Available!</Title>
<Tagline>Nominate yourself or a friend to be a leader for 2014-2015</Tagline>

    <div>The CWIT Student Council is accepting nominations for six leadership positions for the 2014-2015 school year.  Please see below for descriptions of the positions and e-mail Crystal Diaz (<a href="mailto:crystal@umbc.edu">crystal@umbc.edu</a>) or Marie Wagner (<a href="mailto:mwagner2@umbc.edu">mwagner2@umbc.edu</a>) if you would like to nominate yourself or someone else (but make sure they want to be nominated first!).  <br><strong><br>Student Council Positions:</strong>
    </div>
    <div>
    <strong>President</strong>: The 
    duties of the President shall include being an effective leader for the 
    CWIT Student Council and being an active voice in representing the CWIT 
    community.  The President will also serve as the organization's official
     representative for communicating with the SGA and UMBC Staff.  
    <br>
    </div>
    
    
    <div><br></div>
    <div>
    <strong>Vice President of Student Events</strong>: Responsible
     for planning and coordinating social and academic events.  Also 
    responsible for sitting in one CWIT committees that are directly related
     to the CWIT community (social focus). <br>
    </div>
    
    
    <div><br></div>
    <div>
    <strong>Vice President of Public Relations</strong>: Focuses 
    on outreach in terms of other student organizations, academic or outside
     the community.  In charge of collaboration between other student orgs 
    and the academic community overall.  Additional responsibilities will 
    include sitting in on academic committees, such as Spring Into 
    Leadership or Let's Get Techy.  <br>
    </div>
    
    
    <div><br></div>
    <div>
    <strong>Treasurer</strong>: Manages the organization's funds 
    and ensuring compliance with financial rules and guidelines. 
     Additionally the Treasurer is responsible for fund-raising events to 
    help bolster CWIT events.  <br>
    </div>
    
    
    <div><br></div>
    <div>
    <strong>Secretary</strong>: Keeps the CWIT community in touch 
    with the decisions and the actions of the CWIT Student Council, and for 
    getting constant and active feedback of the CWIT community with regards 
    to the Student Council.  Additionally, the Secretary will help organize 
    meetings and events and will aid the other officers in their duties.

    <strong>Media and Communications Officer</strong>: Takes 
    photographs during events, puts together advertising campaigns, and 
    maintains web presence.  <br>
