Clicker Updates
Beginning Fall 2013, all DoIT-supported classroom computers will support Turning Point version 5.2.
Here's what you should know about the upgrade:
- This latest version of Turning Point comes with a newly redesigned interface and added functionality.
- Question lists can be created on both Mac and Windows machines, transported, and used to conduct polling on both Mac and Windows machines as long as both computers are running Turning Point 5.2. The operating systems can differ without present compatibility issues.
- Presentations created using older versions of Turning Point are compatible with this new version.
- Presentations created with version 5.2 are not compatible with older versions of Turning Point.
- Only versions 5.2 or later will support the creation of participant lists via the Blackboard integration.
- Older versions of the Turning Technologies software are incompatible with the UMBC Blackboard Turning Point building block.
