This painting isn’t controversial at all.

Michael D’Antuono, and artist from New York City, painted this picture called “The Truth” for an art exhibit on President Obama’s 100th day in office. Held in Union Square Park, the painting was

“to be in a mock voting booth for people to view privately and then interviewed to express their own views.”

Instead, D’Antuono cancelled the event after receiving approximately 4,000 angry emails, many from conservative Christians who said he was

“trying to promote the idea that liberals believe the president to literally be our savior.”

His original intention, he claims, was to paint a “metaphor” and not compare Obama to Jesus.

But, President Obama is neither dying, nor Jesus. So what’s the metaphor here?

“The Truth” is currently on display at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery in Boston in his exhibit titled “Artists on the Stump — The Road to the White House 2012.”

What do you think about this painting, and what exactly is D’Antuono’s message?

How do you think President Obama would feel about this?

How do I identify an authentic FAQ?

Tell Me
The word authentic in this context means a question that is genuinely being asked by a particular audience. It is not a made up or forged question. FAQs should not be about telling people what you want to tell them, but should answer questions they really are asking.
To help identify authentic FAQs you can:

Use statistics to measure the frequency in which you get a particular topic in an RT ticket.

Certain questions are cyclical or only apply to a particular portion of the Academic year. Look at when questions are being asked and who is asking them.

Identify questions that stay the same over time. (Evergreen FAQs)

Some of the best people to help identify an authentic FAQ are the people asking the questions. Survey your audience; they usually have an interest in helping out and know the niche audience very well.

For additional help in identifying authentic FAQs, use the REX or Reporting Services reports. You can select the Library and briefing book. Use the reports and drill down to find common topics of RT tickets that were resolved in short period of time. These types of RT tickets may be just right for an FAQ.

In order to allow flexibility in deployment location and to preserve user privacy we have performed research into stateless classification of network traffic. Stateless detection allows for flexibility in deployment location because traffic on a network does not necessarily follow the same path to and from the end points. By only requiring a single direction of traffic, we have the ability to deploy this classifier anywhere on a network. We also do not require the data from a packet which preserves user privacy and allows for the classification of encrypted traffic.

Our research shows that it is possible to determine if traffic is malicious by using packets traveling in a single direction and without the data contained in the packet. Our research shows that with the use of the timing of the packets, time to live value, and source and destination IP addresses and ports, it is possible to determine if the traffic is malicious. In this way we are able to deploy the classifier anywhere on a network, preserve user privacy, and classify encrypted traffic.

“I remember Hampden before it was hip,” writes Christopher Corbett, professor and acting chair of English, in his latest column in Baltimore Style magazine. Forbes and the New York Times have both recently written about the Baltimore neighborhood. “I’m too old for skinny jeans. And I don’t look good in a pork pie hat,” he writes. “But I like hipsters. I like them so much that I hope some of them will buy rowhouses and fix them up and pay taxes and have a litter of little hipsters and send those little hipsters to public school and raise the test …
