“The IDEAS grant helps to make education abroad more accessible for UMBC students,” said Katherine Heird, UMBC’s director of education abroad and global learning. “This innovative program offers students an unparalleled opportunity to delve into biomedical research, hone their intercultural communication skills, and build connections across the globe.”

Basement suite for rent - $750 a month includes utilities

<Tagline>Private, quiet, affordable room with everything you'd need</Tagline>

Hello. I'm a recent UMBC grad and I'm helping advertise my former room on behalf of my former landlord. Located in Halethorpe, I lived at this location for about 9 months and it was perfect. Its a quiet place that has all the privacy a person would need. This one room has it all:

* Toilet and Shower

* Fridge

* Stove

* Wifi

* Dresser and rocking chair

* Private side entrance

* Personal driveway parking spot

* 12 minute drive from campus

This is a great place to live as it has everything a student would need. The only reason I left is because I moved away for a job. At $750 a month (which includes all utilities) this is a great bargain. This is a great spot and I'm hoping to help my former landlord out by getting another UMBC student who will respect the space.
