    <div><div>On <strong>Wednesday, March 6</strong>, the Center for Democracy and Civic Life will host the spring 2024 Change Makers Dinner. Members of the UMBC community will join for dinner to talk with leaders working to protect voting rights and ensure fairness in processes related to elections. This event will take place from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. (Harbor Hall: Multipurpose Room). The Center for Democracy and Civic Life will provide a free catered dinner.</div></div>

    <div><span>The theme of this semester's program is voting rights and voter protection. Change Makers Dinner is organized by UMBC's Center for Democracy and Civic Life in partnership with the Student Government Association, the Graduate Student Association, the Political Science Council of Majors, the Office of Government Relations and Community Affairs, the Department of Political Science, and the School of Public Policy.</span></div>

<Title>*REPOST* Upcoming Fulbright Accelerators for Faculty</Title>

    <div>The CAHSS Creative Achievement and Research Administration Team (CARAT) is hosting two upcoming Fulbright Accelerator Workshops in partnership with the Center for Global Engagement.</div>
    <div><br></div>

    <p><span>The</span> <a href="http://www.fulbrightscholars.org/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program</a><span>,
     the largest educational exchange program funded by the U.S. Department 
    of State, provides opportunities for research, teaching or both in the 
    social sciences and the arts.<br></span></p>
    <p><span>During these hour-long workshops, <a href="https://fulbright.umbc.edu/contact/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Dr. Brian Souders</a>,
     UMBC's Fulbright Scholar Liaison in the Center for Global Engagement, 
    will introduce the Fulbright program to interested faculty, explore ways
     to create a competitive application, and discuss UMBC internal support 
    throughout the application process. </span><a href="https://carat.umbc.edu/about-us/" rel="nofollow external" class="bo">Rachel Brubaker,</a> Associate
     Director for Research Development at CARAT, will discuss CARAT's support and 
    the application routing process.</p>

We're looking for </span><strong>1-2 roommates </strong><span>to live in the </span><strong>master bedroom</strong><span> in a </span><strong>3 bedroom luxury 1464 sq. ft. apartment called <span>Avalon</span> Arundel Crossing</strong><span>. It is </span><strong>12 minutes away from campus</strong><span>. The master bedroom is a 12x12</span><strong>, </strong><span>has a</span><strong> walk-in closet, </strong><span>and a </span><strong>private bathroom</strong><span>. The apartment contains a very </span><strong>spacious, furnished living room</strong><span> with a dining room that has been converted into a </span><strong>study area</strong><span>. The </span><strong>kitchen has ample cabinet and drawer space</strong><span> (</span><strong>microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher </strong><span>included). Comes with </span><strong>washer/dryer</strong><span>.
