Furnished room in a nice house by Relay Elementary

<Tagline>4 bedroom 3 bath, lots of space, fully furnished</Tagline>

All you would need to bring are clothes and yourself.

There are two students living there, plus one recent graduate.

The fourth room has a student too, but he's moving out at the end of June so it'd be his room that's available. One of the other roommates is interested in upgrading his room to this one, so you'd have your choice of a cheaper smaller room or this one.

It's an end of group townhouse, there's space to garden, it's nice and big and has couches and tv and all the stuff you'd need in the kitchen too.

It averages $75 for water, lawn care, electric, heat/ac, and then internet is shared four ways too but I don't know exactly what your portion for that is because another roommate pays for that bill and you'd pay them. Something like $20 pp

One of the bathrooms is private to the primary suite so you wont have access to that

The other two bathrooms are for the other three people. One has a shower/bath/toilet, and the other just has a toilet. Lots of open space on the main floor, giant farm house style table, open kitchen, back porch, and finished basement with more space. Laundry in the basement too

Thank You for an Incredible First Year!

<Tagline>Celebrating our work together</Tagline>

Dear Colleagues,

Last week's Commencement was a joyous culmination of our students' UMBC journeys, and I know that you shared in that joy because you played important roles in their journeys. Now, with the spring semester, final exams, Inauguration, and Commencement in our rear-view mirror, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on all we have accomplished and express my gratitude to each of you for this extraordinary and wonderful first year we have spent together.

It has been a whirlwind, an adventure, and a homecoming all at once for me. I have learned so much from you about UMBC -- its character and its caring community, as well as its excellence and ambition. And I have seen you adjust and adapt to significant change and transition with grace and thoughtfulness for both your colleagues and the institution.

To have joined this beloved community that holds the same values and sense of higher education's purpose that have long inspired and driven me is to have found a home among you. It is an extraordinary privilege to serve in leadership to this community.

As we grow and evolve together, I know we will do so with those shared values as our North Star. This was evident time and again in our UMBC Bold: Campus Conversations this spring. I have now received the summaries and reflections on those conversations from our co-chairs, and I look forward to carrying the ideas and aspirations we heard into strategic planning this fall. You will hear more from me about the process and structure for that work, but for now, I wanted to extend my thanks once more to all who participated in the Campus Conversations and, especially, to those faculty, staff, alumni, and students who helped lead them.

I know our campus will remain alive with activity through the summer and that for many of you, the months ahead will be as busy as the ones that have just passed. But I do hope that all of you find time for rest, rejuvenation, and reflection. And I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for welcoming me so warmly to UMBC, for making this first year as your president so incredible, and for embracing the work we will do together to create UMBC's exciting future.

Sincerely,

President Valerie Sheares Ashby

Introducing Rex Finance 2.0

Over the last 18 months, we have been working on implementing a
new suite of financial reports utilizing Tableau, a visual analytics
platform. I am thrilled to announce the launch of these new Tableau
reports, Rex Finance 2.0. This represents a significant upgrade from our
previous data warehouse and reports by incorporating Tableau's powerful
     features and capabilities.

At
UMBC, we recognize the critical role of data in driving informed
decision-making and achieving financial excellence. With the
implementation of Rex Finance 2.0, we have embraced a more intuitive and
interactive approach to visualize and analyze our financial data. The
legacy Rex Finance reports will remain available but will eventually be
    phased out.

Key Features and Benefits:

- Improved Accuracy allowing the campus to have a "single source of truth."

- Options to Expand/Collapse to display levels of the Department and Account hierarchies.

- More flexible filters with the ability to select multiple funds, departments, and projects.

- Ability to show budgets at a point in time.

- Sharing capability allows users to share their dashboard with their selected filters and views, allowing easier collaboration.

To access Rex Finance 2.0, please follow the instructions below:

Connect to the "Eduroam" network, a wired connection on-campus, or log on to the VPN.

Visit analytics.umbc.edu

Click the "Rex Finance 2.0" icon.

Select either Finance Summary Reports or Finance Detail Reports.

We'd
like to encourage you to take advantage of Rex Finance 2.0 and discover
its valuable insights. To support your transition and ensure a smooth
experience, please sign up for virtual training on the my.umbc.edu Training Group Page.
The initial training will be short and will focus on accessing and
navigating the reports. Additional and more robust training will be
offered in the following weeks and posted on the same page.

As
we embark on this exciting new chapter with Rex Finance 2.0, we
acknowledge these two workbooks are only the beginning of a new
reporting strategy, as we will deliver more workbooks and features in
    the future.

Please contact me for any questions or assistance if you need help accessing or navigating Rex Finance 2.0.

Thank
you for your ongoing commitment to data-driven decision-making at UMBC.
With Rex Finance 2.0, we are poised to unlock the full potential of our
financial data, empowering us to make strategic and informed decisions
for the continued success of our university.

Best regards,
