It is with great excitement that we share the upcoming details for our first ever PRIDE Week with i3b! As a reminder, PRIDE Week will be taking place all of next week April 24 - April 29, kicking off with a Sneak Peak Preview today! In this collaborative effort, we would like to invite you to all of our events. We have linked each of them below with up to date information to make it easier for you to locate the separate links. 


As you may imagine this is quite a big undertaking for our small professional and student staff team. As such, we will be adjusting the hours of The Pride Center to accommodate for programming. Below are the dates and times that will be impacted by our programming. 

  • Today, Wednesday, April 19, 2023: 1:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Monday, April 24, 2023: Regular Hours  
  • Tuesday, April 25, 2023: Center Closed from 4:00 p.m.- 6:45 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Apri 26, 2023: Center Closing at 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 27, 2023: Regular Hours
  • Friday, April 28, 2023 & Remaining Fridays for the Spring 2023 Semester: Center Closed
  • Saturday, April 29, 2023: Center Closed
  • Thursday, May 4, 2023: Center Open 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

My name is Isabel (she/her) and I am about to graduate this May. 
I just accepted a full time job in the DC area and am looking to move to Columbia to shorten my commute. 

Before I sign any leases on apartments, I want to make sure I have a roommate or two to go in with. I want to be able to room with someone who I can get along well with and enjoy spending time together. 

A little about myself:
  • I am 22 (my bday is on St. Patty's Day)
  • I was born in Israel but have lived in the US my whole life
  • I will be graduating from UMBC this May with a BFA in Graphic Design and will be working in DC as a Museum Exhibit Graphic Designer
  • I love animals (I do not have any of my own, just my family's)
  • I enjoy spending time in nature, painting, coloring, watching movies, going to restaurants, museums, shopping

Although I do not have a set move in date, I would like to aim for the end of the summer, but am pretty flexible.

I wanted to plug the 3rd Annual Allied Health Symposium that will be happening TOMORROW from 12-2pm.

The first hour may be of interest to students who are still trying to decide which allied health pathway they would like to pursue. We will have reps from a variety of allied health professional schools discussing their programs and the pathways in general.

The second hour is for students to chat 1:1 with each of the school reps. George Washington University will be available to talk with any students who want to learn more about their program or who have admissions related questions!
