Support Group for Neurodivergent Students (In-Person, eight weeks) is an 8-week in-person group incorporating information, skills: tips/tricks/hacks, and a space to explore your unique self from a strengths-based perspective. The group is for anyone wondering if you are neurodivergent or if you have been diagnosed as neurodivergent (ADHD, processing disorders, autism, and more). We will learn about common myths and stereotypes, burnout (how to prevent and address it), and self-advocacy.

Day and Time: Wednesdays 1 PM-2:30 PM (Starting March 1^st)

The first step to joining any group is to complete a triage appointment with the counseling center. The Chesapeake Arts Center is seeking a contractual, qualified instructor to assist and/or lead various visual arts programming for students of all ages. The instructor will create and facilitate lessons/projects in a variety of mediums and encourage and assist students in their creating process. Instructors must be reliable, prepared and able to manage a classroom, plus have the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students.

Compensation is $35/hour. Weekend and evening availability is a must.

The Chesapeake Arts Center is seeking a contractual, qualified instructor to assist and/or lead various STEAM programming for students in grades 1-10. The instructor will facilitate lessons/projects in a variety of STEAM-related topics and encourage and assist students in their creating process. Instructors must be reliable, prepared and able to manage a classroom, plus have the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of students.

i3b is a department within the Division of Student Affairs. All of our interactive learning opportunities are designed to expand knowledge of self and others, develop social justice competencies, practice new skills, and build a sense of belonging.

Fulbright Accelerator Workshop for CAHSS Faculty
