NSF CAREER represents a significant opportunity to support the early career activities of many pre-tenure researchers. Each year, the program grows in competitiveness, and with a limited number of submissions available to faculty, developing the most compelling narrative is essential.

In this session, Hanover will focus on two critical elements of the NSF CAREER program -- educational activities and broader impacts -- sharing key tips and strategies for success.

Waste, Climate Change and Environmental Justice Survey

<Tagline>For UMBC Students</Tagline>

Attention all UMBC students:

A graduate student in the Department of Geography & Environmental Systems is sponsoring a survey that looks to understand how students comprehend waste, climate change and environmental justice.
The goal of the project is to see if students make connections between environmental justice, waste and climate change at universities. By understanding if those connections are made we hope to look at how to utilize power to make changes surrounding waste and environmental justice at UMBC.

Waste, Climate Change and Environmental Justice Survey

<Tagline>For UMBC Students</Tagline>

Attention all UMBC students:

A graduate student in the Department of Geography & Environmental Systems is sponsoring a survey that looks to understand how students comprehend waste, climate change and environmental justice. It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is for UMBC graduate and undergraduate students.

The goal of the project is to see if students make connections between environmental justice, waste and climate change at universities. By understanding if those connections are made we hope to look at how to utilize power to make changes surrounding waste and environmental justice at UMBC.
