For those of you gearing up for technical interviews, below you'll find a compiled list of practice problems from us that has been helpful with getting started:

In addition to this, it is recommended you review Dynamic Programming material, and focus on Bottom-Up techniques. And then Practice Graph or Tree Searches and Traversals as these questions are generally used to trip you up in interviews. We recommend using python as your primary language for coding assessments.

Remember this is not strict list, and you may create your own study plan, but use this as a guide.

UNPAID INTERNSHIP SUPPORT

• The Terry and Patricia Nolan Foundation Support (for students in pre-law who wish to pursue an unpaid internship in the legal field; usually around $500). Click here for the application. Applications for funding for unpaid spring internships are due December 15th.
• The Wilmer, Cutler, and Pickering Pre-Law Foundation Support (for students in pre-law who wish to pursue an unpaid internship in the legal field; usually around $500). Click here for the application. Applications for funding for unpaid spring internships are due December 15th.
• Support from the Department of Political Science for an unpaid internship (for Political Science students who wish to pursue an unpaid internship in any field in political science or public policy during a regular semester or the summer; $2000) Click here for the application. The application deadline for this award is December 15 (Spring semester) and April 1 (Summer semester).

• Wednesday, 12/7/22:  Open 8:30-11:30am; CLOSED 11:30am-3:30pm; and reopens 3:30-5pm (off-site Holiday Gathering)

Digital Cruikshank launches this week! The students from Dr. DiCuirci's English 416/616 course invite you to a digital exhibition launch on Thursday, December 8 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. in the Albin O. Kuhn Library Gallery. Please join us for a panel discussion on "Digital Cruikshank: Etching & Sketching in Nineteenth-Century England," a student-curated digital exhibition featuring materials by prolific illustrator George Cruikshank held at UMBC Special Collections. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to view materials from the collection, tour the site and learn more about Cruikshank's work, life and times. We will have light refreshments and fun giveaways. Come for the caricatures, stay for the cake!
