Saturday, October 15, 2022 - UMBC Transit will be unable to service the following stops on the Downtown route (map), due to the 2022 Baltimore Running Festival:

8. Pratt St & Howard St. (Convention Center & Camden Yards)
9. Pratt St. & Light St. (Baltimore Inner Harbor)

Riders boarding the bus at these stops are encouraged to utilize stop #7. Greene St & Lombard St (UMB). Baltimore City Traffic Advisory Here

To honor the spooky season people from PhilAnon are watching a documentary on the 90's Norwegian Black Metal Scene, called Until the Light Takes Us. The documentary is not any more of a music documentary than it is a true crime documentary so even if you have absolutely zero interest in extreme music genres you will definitely get something out of watching it. Besides just being an intriguing and bizarre story, the film does actually offer food for the philosophical mind regarding aesthetics, politics, religion and more. A content warning is in order: the film is about racists who burn down churches and these people are interviewed. Murder and suicide are also discussed in the film. 

Anyway, at 7 tonight we will be watching it in that building that looks like a movie theater just across from commons in the first lecture hall on the left when you enter the building.
