Student Staff Receive Fall 2025 Yachi Madaan Employee Excellence Award

Five Student Affairs Operations and Facilities student staff members received the inaugural Yachi Madaan Employee Excellence Award. It will be presented each semester to those student staff that excel in their area and go above and beyond to provide excellent service, teamwork, and leadership. 

The award is named for Yachi, a dedicated teammate and campus leader who passed away unexpectedly in 2025.

Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) is an academic and professional organization dedicated to fostering growth and interest in the Cybersecurity field. This semester, we will be hosting various social, educational, and professional events that will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about cybersecurity and find close community with like-minded peers. Our upcoming events include:

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is accepting applications until 2/13 for student trainees in the Pathways program. CMS internships are competitive and can lead to full-time employment after graduation. The federal portal, usajobs, has new requirements for application submissions. Please review the directions and complete your application before 5 pm on Friday. Positions may close before the application deadline, so don't delay! Announcing Critical Social Justice Week!

A whole month of inspiring, exciting programming! Reposting from our friends at the Women's Gender, & Equity Center (with an added link to the 2/20 session). The Center for Social Justice Dialogue is excited to collaborate on such meaningful events.

Critical Social Justice (CSJ) Week is a campus-wide initiative dedicated to deepening our collective understanding of equity, inclusion, and community care. Through panels, workshops, and creative programming, CSJ Week invites students, staff, and faculty to engage in meaningful conversations about justice and belonging within and beyond the university.

Critical social justice has a history in the Women's, Gender, & Equity Center, and we are excited to bring back this work now within the Community & Culture unit in the Division of Institutional Equity.
