EHS 340 (Cultural Diversity in Healthcare) is a 3-credit, Upper-Level, fully online GEP Culture course!

The course description reads:

The goal of the medical system is to provide optimal care for all patients.  In a multiethnic society, this goal can be accomplished if people working in the health care field have a basic understanding of why certain cultures do the things that they do.  This course will give the student some idea of the range of cultural behaviors and the need to understand others’ actions from the perspective of the other person’s culture.  Students will also explore some alternatives when it comes to providing culturally competent care.

The pre-requisite for the course is a C or better in any 100- or 200-Level GEP SS course.

Seats are available NOW for Summer 2019 Session 2 (07/08/2019 - 08/16/2019), and for Fall 2019. 

EHS has plans to offer the course in Fall, Spring, and Summer each year!

Introduction: 
    During the summer school program, students will specialize in electrical engineering areas and participate in research internship and interactive workshops. Students will engage their intellectual curiosity with ZJU faculty, build a new network of friends, and expand  understanding of the world. The summer school will be led by academic instructors from the College of Electrical Engineering at ZJU, in partnership with local students.

Research directions: 
Emerging Smart Energy Technology / Robotics and Internet of Things Technology

Participates: 
We expect 16 foreign participants - MSc. students or PhD students in Electrical Engineering major or related majors from universities around the world

Time: June 24 to July 24 （one month）

Application deadline:May 26
