As this year is nearing its end, we are glad to say that EESA has kept up a strong presence at UMBC. As our election applications close down, we now invite all of our members to vote in our E-Board election! (Note: you become a member by attending 3+ GBMs.) The election closes tomorrow night, at 4/15/2025, 11:59pm. 

Also, we are glad to announce that we have been nominated for the best Event of the Year, with our Annual Charity Gala (Negus and Nigist) representing us. The deadline for EOTY voting is 4/16/2025, 11:59pm. You do NOT have to be a member to vote for us in this way. So, if you enjoyed the event, feel free to spread the word and vote for us!

Please come out and vote! The Event of the Year is doable in less than a minute, and the E-Board elections should take less than 5. Click on the link below!

Introducing the J-1 Exchange Buddy Program again at  UMBC's Center for Global Engagement!
This program offers a rewarding opportunity for students to assist our new international exchange students as they adjust to life in the U.S.

By joining the Buddy Program, students will be paired with a new exchange student, helping them navigate their transition and enriching their experience at UMBC. We are launching the program again for the upcoming Fall 2025 and Academic Year 2025-2026 and we’re looking for enthusiastic participants.
