We’re excited to host a General Body Meeting on November 22 from 3–4 PM on Google Meet!
This meeting is your chance to:
I have a private room available for rent starting January 1st,2025. 1 min walking distance from UMBC shuttle and 3-4 mins drive from UMBC Campus.
About the Space:
- The bedroom is spacious and full of sunlight with a good view.
- You’ll have access to a shared (with one female flatmate) full bathroom (you can access it through your room) and a big walking closet in your room
- Spacious shared balcony
- A shared kitchen and living room.
- In house shared washer dryer
- Bedrooms and doors have locks . So, there will be no compromise with the privacy.
- There’s a designated spacious parking space behind the house with street parking at the front.
Eligibility:
- Only female graduate and undergraduate students are allowed to be tenants.

- The rent is $718 per month
- A security deposit of one month’s rent is required.
Prohibited Behaviors:
- No couples, smoking, drinking, or partying are allowed. This is not a party house.

Have you ever wanted to learn CPR, Basic First Aid, or how to use an AED? Are you part of a department or club/student organization and want to feel prepared for any emergency?
Now is your chance!
The Emergency and Disaster Health Systems (EDHS) and the Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) departments are now offering training in these skills. Participants will complete the coursework online and then attend a one-day hands-on, skills training and testing class.
All are welcome!

This is a Hybrid AHA CPR course for Community members. There are costs associated with each part of the training course.
Total Cost of Training: $66.00
PART 1 is online and students must purchase the training portion using this link: https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartsaver-first-aid-cpr-aed-online
PART 2 is the in-person skills testing where students will participate in the hands on training and testing. The cost of this portion will be $45 made payable by check to UMBC OR cash only. (This MUST be submitted at the time of the skills training & testing session)
