By default the TurningPoint Tab will only appear when the TurningPoint icon is clicked or when a TurningPoint presentation is opened directly from your browser. If you were to open PowerPoint you would not be able to access any of the TurningPoint functions. The program defaults can be configured to have the TurningPoint’s tab load every time you open any files associated with PowerPoint.

1. Open Turning Point by clicking on the Turning Point icon
2. From the Turning Point 2008 tab, click on the Tools icon
3. Scroll down to Settings and select it
4. In Settings, make sure that Presentation is selected
5. Scroll down to the Misc section
6. The first item is Add-in always loaded – set this to True 
7. Click Done button in the bottom right hand corner

3. Click Integrations
4. Select Blackboard from the Integration drop-down menu and enter the Server Address - blackboard.umbc.edu - in the box provided
5. Enter your myUMBC username and password. Select the institution name from the institution drop-down box if available

6. Click Connect
   The Update with Integration window is displayed. 

   Note: Click Update List to update the participant list with the latest participant list information available from Blackboard
7. Select Export Session(s)
8. Select the column(s) to be exported and click Export
   The Export to Integration window is displayed
9. Click Export

1. Reserve a ResponseWare session ID.
2. Open Turning Point Anywhere software to the launchpad.
3. In the lower left part of the launchpad, choose the "Click to Connect" link next to ResponseWare.
4. Enter your ResponseWare username and password in the login section.
5. Under participant options choose "Allow Guests" (unless you have required your students to purchase their own ResponseWare licenses).
6. Enter your reserved session ID.
7. Click on the Login button in the lower right.
8. The ResponseWare session window will open up displaying the session ID for your students to connect to.

1. Go to http://www.RWPoll.com
2. Select Create Account.
3. Review the Privacy Agreement and Terms of Use. If you agree to the terms, select Agree.
4. In the Create Account section, enter your license code, email address, password and secure text.
   Note: If you are a faculty member using DoIT's ResponseWare license on a trial basis, or you are student and have not yet purchased a subscription license, check the checkbox to continue creating an account. If you purchase a license  you can return at a later time to enter your subscription license code.
5. Select Create Account.
6. Confirmation will be displayed that the account was successfully created and the Device ID will display. You will also receive an e-mail at the registered email address with your password.
7. Select Continue.

To prepare to answer your instructor's questions, connect to a ResponseWare Web session. To connect using a web browser:

1. Go to: http://www.rwpoll.com/
2. Click Login to your ResponseWare account. 
   
   
3. Type your email address and your Turning Technologies password (not your myUMBC password) in the fields provided. If desired, check Remember My E-Mail: for quicker access in the future. Click Login. 
   
   
4. On the Welcome screen, type the session ID provided by your instructor, and click Join Session.

Note: Your screen should refresh automatically when the instructor opens the polling for a question, but if your device doesn't support AJAX, JavaScript, or HTTP requests, you may see a Refresh button that you will need to click to advance to the questions and the results.

A profile is a group of settings that determine how a presentation is recorded, processed, and presented. Completing the one-time setup of the user accounts associated with each profile assures that publishing will take place automatically when you finish recording and submit to the server.

Checklist:

• iTunes U tool is enabled in Blackboard course  

1. Open your Internet browser 
2. Go to https://cam-relay.ad.umbc.edu/Relay/
3. Log in with your Administrator account
   If you've only been granted a presenter account, you will NOT be able to create a new profile
4. Click Profiles and select Profiles List
5. Click the Create New profile icon located to the left of the Search field
6. In the Profile Setup:
   1. Enter a title for the new profile
      If you are creating a profile for a Blackboard course, the recommended format is similar to the course ID, e.g. AGNG100_1234_FA2014
   2. Enter a brief description for the profile
   3. Click Save
7. Click the Publish Destinations link on the left
8. Select one or more publish destinations for this profile
9. Click Save

10. Click the Encode Settings link on the left

11. Select the format you would like to upload
12. Click Save
13. Click the Publish Accounts link on the left
14. Click Save
15. Click the Notification Selection link on the left
16. Select the notifications to use for this account
17. Click Save
18. Select the encodings that you want to include in each notification
19. Click Save
20. Click the Associated Users link on the left
21. Click on the user in the Available Users column to assign to this profile and click Add >
    If you don't see the person's name, they have not been granted access to Camtasia Relay
22. Click Save
