            <p><strong>TRANSCRIPT REQUEST</strong></p>
    <p><strong>1.)    I’m a current student, how can I view and print a copy of my unofficial transcript?</strong></p>
    <p>Transcripts can be viewed via myUMBC.  In order to view your transcript, you must be logged into myUMBC and assigned to either an undergraduate or a graduate role.</p>
    <p> </p>
    <p><strong>Verify / edit your myUMBC role:</strong></p>
    <ol>
    <li>From the myUMBC page, locate your name in the upper right corner and click once on your name.</li>
    <li>Select <strong>Role</strong> from the drop down menu.</li>
    <li>Locate the <strong>Active Role</strong> and <strong>Default role</strong> drop down values.  You will want to change both settings.</li>
    <li>If the settings are not already set to Undergraduate Student or Graduate Student, you will need to edit your role.  <strong>Select</strong> either <strong>Undergraduate Student</strong> or <strong>Graduate Student</strong> from the displayed list.</li>
    <li>Click the <strong>Set</strong> button.  Your settings are now changed.</li>

    <p>View your Transcript:</p>
    <ol>
    <li>Go to myumbc --&gt; topics --&gt; classes and grades.</li>
    <li>Click on transcript (unofficial).</li>
    </ol>

    <p><strong>2.)    Alumni students, have the ability to order an official transcript only.</strong></p>
    <p>            To obtain a copy of an official transcript, please visit<a href="http://www.umbc.edu/registrar" rel="nofollow external" class="bo"> www.umbc.edu/registrar</a>. You will see the Registrar’s Office web page. Under forms click on Records Update/Request Forms, under Quick Links click on Official Transcript Request, Start my order and submit the transcript request form. There is a fee of $8.00 per transcript.  (PDF, Mail, Fax or Pick Up)</p>

    <p>Paper Transcript - Mail</p>

    <p>b.)       <strong>Mail a request in writing</strong> with a check or money order payable to <strong>UMBC Registrar</strong> <strong>Office</strong>, along with your request. Please include the complete mailing address (es), birth date or campus Id.  If you have an attachment. Please make sure you mail your attachment along with your request. Mail your request to UMBC Office of the Registrar, Academic Service, Records Dept., 1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, Maryland 21250</p>
    <p>c.)       <strong>Come In person </strong>tothe Registrar’s Office first and pick up a receipt form. Take the receipt form over to the Bursar’s Office in the Administration building on the 3<sup>rd</sup> floor and make your payment. Bring back your receipt to the Registrar’s Office and pick up your official transcript(s). Must show any type of picture Id.</p>
    <p><strong>4.)    Is there a fee for each record?</strong></p>
    <p>No, the fee for your transcript is $8.00. It includes your complete record, undergraduate, graduate and continuing education.</p>
    <p><strong>5.)    Who should I call if I have a financial hold?</strong></p>
    <p>Please contact the Bursar Office concerning any financial holds to your account. The Registrar Office must receive authorization from the Bursar’s Office, in order to process your transcript request.</p>

    <p><strong>6.)    Can someone else pick up my transcript for me?</strong></p>
    <p>In order to allow someone else to pick up your transcript for you, you must send an authorization via your umbc email account.   In the email, please include your order number, name, birthdate or student Id., and the name of the person that will pick up your transcript.</p>

    <p><strong>1.)    I’m a current student, how can I view and print a copy of my unofficial transcript?</strong></p>
    <p>Transcripts can be viewed via myUMBC.  In order to view your transcript, you must be logged into myUMBC and assigned to either an undergraduate or a graduate role.</p>
    <p> </p>
    <p><strong>Verify / edit your myUMBC role:</strong></p>
    <ol>
    <li>From the myUMBC page, locate your name in the upper right corner and click once on your name.</li>
    <li>Select <strong>Role</strong> from the drop down menu.</li>
    <li>Locate the <strong>Active Role</strong> and <strong>Default role</strong> drop down values.  You will want to change both settings.</li>
    <li>If the settings are not already set to Undergraduate Student or Graduate Student, you will need to edit your role.  <strong>Select</strong> either <strong>Undergraduate Student</strong> or <strong>Graduate Student</strong> from the displayed list.</li>
    <li>Click the <strong>Set</strong> button.  Your settings are now changed.</li>
    </ol>

    <p>View your Transcript:</p>
    <ol>
    <li>Go to myumbc --&gt; topics --&gt; classes and grades.</li>
    <li>Click on transcript (unofficial).</li>
