Black Friday and other reasons to be Thankful!

<Tagline>Black Friday Be Thankful!</Tagline>

The
countdown is on for one of the most anticipated days of the year. You guessed
it. BLACK FRIDAY! Known as the official start of the holiday shopping season,
Black Friday was first acknowledged back in 1966 when the Philadelphia Police
Department noticed a significant increase in both pedestrian and vehicle
traffic in the shopping districts of the city. It was given the name “Black
Friday” to indicate a time when retailers typically turn a serious profit,
moving from the red to the black. As most Americans have the day after
Thanksgiving off, Black Friday is known as the busiest shopping day of the
    year.

So
if you dare to stay up all night and fight the crowds to find the best deals,
you could really save big this Black Friday. Here are some websites I found
with great tips for getting the best deals.

http://couponing.about.com/od/seasonalsavingszone/p/blackfriday.htm

http://frugalliving.about.com/od/christmas/tp/Black_Friday_Tips.htm

http://www.blackfriday2011.com/

Article by Alison Ginder

Happy
shopping!!! Please share any comments about WHAT you are thankful for this season and/or whether or not you will be brave enough to join the crowds for Black Friday and WHERE you will go to shop!
