Lunch with New Members

I am a new(ish) faculty member in the ME department. Prior to joining UMBC in Fall 2021, I was a postdoc at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where I also got my Ph.D. in 2019. My research interests include data-driven and learning-based control and estimation techniques for complex dynamical systems and developing physical experiments to improve dynamics, control, and robotics education. I and my wife are voracious foodies and enjoy cooking (both indoors and outdoors). We also enjoy hiking although we haven't found many great hiking trails. Looking forward to meeting new colleagues and discovering the hidden gems around UMBC!
