Dear AAAFSC members,
The Global Asias Initiative, which is a Mellon funded initiative to build up study of Asia and in its diasporas on our campus is hosting informal, open conversation groups to provide faculty and staff with opportunities to connect their work to the Global Asias framework and collaborate on building out the details of this new initiative.
Each gathering will be themed and guided by prompts. These conversations will also generate ideas for how faculty and staff whose work relates to Asia and its diasporas can be better supported structurally on campus, using the resources we already have at UMBC.
