Center for Global Engagement International Education Week!
Join us for this special session!
The Center for Global Engagement is planning the International Education Week from November 10 to 17. A joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education, International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity for our campus to celebrate international education in all its forms: curricular, extracurricular, formal, non-formal and everything in between. Every year, we invite faculty, staff, students and the UMBC community at large to propose sessions and events during that week.
Deputy Assistant Secretary for Private Sector Exchange Rebecca Pasini from the Department of State has accepted our invitation to host a session during IEW. Her session will take place on Thursday, November 16, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.. She will present on the Exchange Visitor Program, foreign diplomacy goals, and the importance of higher education.
We are extending an invitation to you to attend this event which is the highlight of IEW with DAS Pasini as the keynote speaker.
We're looking forward to seeing you!
