Academic advisors place an integral role in helping students navigate some of the more nuanced academic policies and procedures at UMBC. In this session, we provide an overview of the following academic petitions:

Course Repeat
Non-Applicable Semester/Academic Clemency
Exception to Enrollment

Advisors will learn what their role is in assisting students in these processes as well as how decisions are made regarding course of action.

Session will be 1 hour of content followed by a voluntary 30 minutes of Q&A.
