ASME: Project Team Kickoff Event
Join ASME’s student design competition team this Friday!
Are you eager to apply your engineering and STEM knowledge in a practical setting? Looking for an exciting project to enhance your resume? Look no further! The ASME Project Team is thrilled to announce our kickoff meeting this Friday, September 15th, from 12-1pm in ENG 022.
This year, we’re taking on the ASME student design competition with a brand-new fun and challenging project - a mini golf robot! This is a fantastic opportunity to put your engineering and STEM concepts to work, and gain hands-on experience with like-minded individuals.
Our project leader, Ben Brooks, will be there to introduce the project and answer any questions you may have. If you can’t make it to the meeting but are interested in participating or have any questions, feel free to reach out to Ben personally at bbrooks2@umbc.edu.
Please note that the schedule for these project meetings is tentative. We encourage all interested students to attend the kickoff meeting to provide their input in creating the finalized meeting schedule.
Also, we want to emphasize that this is not limited to ASME members, all STEM majors are welcome and encouraged to join. We believe that a diverse range of expertise can greatly benefit our team and enhance the project’s success.
We’re excited about this new project and hope you are too. Looking forward to seeing you there!
