Take this opportunity to volunteer for ASME!
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is hosting 'Let's Get Techy' this spring semester and needs your help! 'Let's Get Techy' is a collaborative event consisting of multiple student organizations, aimed at hosting a STEM related field trip for middle school students here at UMBC. It will be held this Saturday, March 7th from 9:00am-2:30pm.
As a volunteer, you will be assigned to one of the following responsibilities: leading group activities, escorting student groups between activities, helping with set up/clean up, or other tasks as needed.
Additionally, this event provides students the largest opportunity to earn a graduation cord from ASME. A minimum commitment of 3 volunteering hours is required this semester to be eligible for the graduation cord.
