UMBC ASME had a huge presence at ASME Baltimore's tour of 3D Maryland's Innovation and Prototyping Lab on Thursday, 9/17! Jan Baum, director of 3D Maryland, fascinated our members as she explained all of the great innovation going on as a result of the current additive manufacturing boom.
One of the most exciting parts of the tour was her enthusiasm for getting students involved in this rapidly expanding field! If you want to learn more about 3D printing, find a summer internship, or get actively involved in the field, 3D Maryland is the place to look.
