At this month's Assessment 365 presentation learn more about the administration and results of this year's Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement (BCSSE) at UMBC with presenter Dr. Laila M. Shishineh - Assistant Vice Provost & Assistant Dean in the Division of Undergraduate Academic Affairs. This session will cover a brief overview of the survey, administration process, results, and potential implications for our work to support student engagement and student success. Over 850 responses to BCSSE will also be compared to over 1,000 responses on the UNIV101 and UNIV301 Pre-Assessment taken by incoming students enrolled in a University Seminar course. Additional details will be shared about future plans to administer BCSSE and the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) via Institutional Research, Analysis, & Decision Support (IRADS).
