Dear Colleagues,
We are happy to have welcomed many faculty and staff back to campus this month. Thank you to all faculty and staff who have reported their COVID-19 vaccine information. We are pleased that our campus vaccination rate continues to increase. You can view our current rate, as well as our projected rate based on anonymous data, on our public health dashboard, which is updated weekly. Remember that once your vaccine is verified, you are entered into weekly incentive drawings. We have already had two winners: a staff member from the Division of Professional Studies and one of our computer science majors each received 100 food fund points!
It remains imperative that all faculty and staff report their vaccines or request an exemption as soon as possible. Faculty and staff who do not report their vaccine or receive an exemption will face disciplinary action that includes but is not limited to the inability to participate in University travel or telework.
Last week we provided all of our faculty and staff with their required health and safety measures based on their vaccination status. Individuals who do not have a verified vaccination status must complete daily symptom tracking and must test regularly when they begin visiting campus. Supervisors will receive further instructions on monitoring compliance with these requirements.
We are closely monitoring the health and safety of our community and appreciate all that you are doing to support us.
