Is human cloning morally permissible?

For the first time, technologies were developed that would allow us to clone human cells from adult human tissue.
The event is sponsored by the Biology Council of Majors but is open to all majors. Invite any of your friends who are interested in bioethics!
Given this news, BioCOM is focusing its second "Bioethics Debate" on the question of whether human cloning is morally permissible.
Dr. Charles Bieberich, an ordained Catholic deacon as well as a biology professor at UMBC, will be arguing against the motion; meanwhile, Patrick O'Neill, a biology graduate student at UMBC with an interest in philosophy, will be arguing for the motion that "Human cloning is morally permissible."
