Join Just Food UMBC for a screening of Food Chains!
Wednesday, April 1, 2015 · 6:30 - 8 PM
Join Just Food UMBC for a screening of Food Chains, a documentary about the human cost of our current agriculture system. It is framed in Florida, where it addresses the major negative impact we are leaving on our environment.
We will have two speakers from the Farm Worker Justice, Ken Brown and Sergio España, talking to us about the documentary.
This is a great way for us to collaborate to address larger issues in our community. Food provided by Chipotle, please bring your student ID.
This event is co-sponsored by Interdisciplinary Studies CoM, Health Administration and Policy Program, Geography and Environment System, American Studies, Sociology and Anthropology, and The Garden.
