As part of the MLLI Film Festival, the German Area of the Modern Languages Department presents Rainer Werner Fassbinder's landmark film "Fear Eats The Soul" about the unlikely love story of a German custodian and an Arab immigrant. Though first released in 1974 the film tackles remarkably current issues. (Required for German 303)
