Individual Course Withdrawal/ S/U Deadline April 4th
Students can still Withdraw or Change to S/U Grading
Friday, April 4th is the deadline to withdraw from individual courses or change any course to S/U grading for the Spring semester.
Withdrawn courses and courses utilizing S/U grading count as attempts but do not impact your GPA.
Withdrawing from individual courses can be done via the Schedule & Registration system in myUMBC.
S/U grading changes can be done through the link found on this page (https://registrar.umbc.edu/satisfactory-unsatisfactory-grading-method/).
If withdrawing from one or more courses will bring you to less than full time status (12 credits) there may be impacts in other areas such as scholarship, financial aid, and on-campus housing. Questions about those areas should be directed to the appropriate office.
Students can withdraw from the entire semester though the last day of classes, May 13th. Full semester withdrawals can have serious impacts on other areas and should always be discussed with an advisor.
