With the untimely death of Congressman Elijah Cummings, State Senator Jill P. Carter is announcing her run for Congress to represent YOU (District 7 is UMBC's District).
The campaign is hosting a kick-off event on Monday, November 18 from 6pm-8pm. Students who attend her kick off event will hear from Senator Carter herself, learn about her views and life story, and hear about opportunities to get involved. We will be meeting at Math/Psych 103 on Monday at 6pm before carpooling over to the event in Ellicott City. We will return to campus by 8:30pm.
