This is a reminder that the commencement ceremonies are fast approaching. The Graduate School's ceremony is next Wednesday, December 16 and the Undergraduate ceremony is Thursday, December 17, both at 10:00 am, and will remain online for you and your family and friends to view if you can't make it at that time. You will be able to view the ceremonies on the commencement website. 

As you know, the deadline has passed to upload your photo and register to have a slide at the graduation ceremony. If you missed the deadline, we hope that you will still join the UMBC community and your fellow graduates for the ceremony. If you would like another opportunity to have a photo of yourself showing your Retriever Spirit, there is an online photo booth on the commencement website that is currently available. Feel free to share on social media with the hashtag #UMBCgrad.

The graduate boxes were shipped on Monday of this week and many of you have already received them. Please make sure that you go through the crinkle paper carefully as we have learned that the graduation tassels may have become tangled within it. The colors of both blend together and it is easy to overlook the tassel. If you applied for graduation late, we are working to get boxes out to you as well, but this may take us a little while.
