Good evening, morning, afternoons,
Profrock admits "I have measured out my life with coffee spoons," but did he ever measure out his words? Did he examine his poetry and writing? Here's your chance to get that second opinion, instead of living as Mr. J. Alfred does, so isolated, in T.S. Eliot's work (who himself was always workshopping and reworking his poems and plays with acquaintances).
Join us on April 17th at our normal meeting time and place, 4-5 pm in the Fireside Lounge, to join in the workshopping!
Bring a piece (around 2 pages/600 words of prose works best, or your best estimate for other mediums), an idea you want to incorporate, and questions you want to ask your peers. This can be about the plot direction, development of characters, or themes, or style, or just about anything!
Hope to see you there!
(And yes we still have normal meetings the Thursdays between now and this, so come to those too.)
Ethan
P.S., apologies that I have been obsessed with The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock lately but you all should definitely read it.
