UMBC World Cup

various organizations here on campus can participate in tournament style soccer competitions. The goal of this event is to serve as a sort of pep-rally to get the UMBC community excited for our homecoming activities, especially our homecoming soccer game. Also, it is our hope that this type of friendly competition will help build comradery among the student organizations here at UMBC and also help individual organizations build relations among their members.

Registration is free. Teams should be comprised of seven players plus at most three substitutes (7-10 players per team). Both men and women are welcomed to join the team (ideally at least one woman per team). Fraternity and Sororities can co-op. Varsity team members are not allowed to be on the team, however they are welcome to coach a team at their discretion.
